To Chat or not to Chat

Chat box and PM's are they a good or bad thing?

I think a chat box stops people posting on threads and can help the demise of a forum.

I wouldnt advise a chat box or PMs in a forum like this. Its too open and not really a place for privacy. I wouldnt use them, there are enough places to go and chat or PM with friends if thats what people want. I agree it would take away from posting too.

i agree with Silver i think there would be too much fighting in chat if we had one hear , its nice just to post in the threads and communicate that way sometimes.

Totally agree..No chat or pm's...I'm sure we all have other outlets for such activities. And feel free to start any threads you like..

ive never been a big fan of pms i think it makes other folks suspicious if others are saying hey such and such i pm ya .
